Our McDreamy has scrubbed up again…well, sort of

Though Patrick Dempsey’s character, Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd traumatized us forever when he met his tragic death on Grey’s Anatomy (if that is a spoiler, what is more important that binge-watching the last 12 seasons of Grey’s??) fans were happy to see him dusting his scrubs off this week.

Well, not really. it’s just for an amazing new PSA for annual check-ups, but we’ll take whatever McDreamy we can get.

But it’s not just McDreamy. The Cigna ad features so many of our favorite TV doctors, all promoting real health initiatives even though no, none of them are doctors…They just play doctors on TV.

The rest of the faux-doctors group includes ER’s Noah Wyle, M*A*S*H’s Alan Alda, and House’s Lisa Edelstein. But we were particularly excited to see Scrubs’ Donald Faison, who played our favorite bro-FF and person we’d most want to receive surgery from, TURK!

There have been no talks of a Scrubs reunion, but with so many of our other ‘00s favs coming back lately, it’s totally plausible! All that’s missing from this PSA would be a John Dorian voiceover to wrap everything up, and we’d be good to go. But, their perfect “doctor poses” will do.
