McDonald’s is going to make our summer complete with this new drink

If you’re into your frozen (non-alcoholic) drinks, then get ready for a trip to Texas because McDonald’s is launching Minute Maid slushies in the Lone Star state. Starting on April 10th in the Houston area, three flavors of slushies will be available at McDonald’s to help customers beat the heat. So, if you’re in the Houston area, say goodbye to your McCafé Smoothies (just for the time being) and try out one these new McDonald’s slushies.

McDonald’s already carries Minute Maid apple juice boxes, but these slushies are going to up the refreshing level. (No offense, apple juice — you have always been there for us.) But with flavors Fruit Punch, Cherry Limeade, and Orangeade, we’re definitely intrigued by these frozen drinks. false

Plus, the Houston area McDonald’s branches are doing a good job with hyping up this new drink.

While Cherry Limeade makes us think of another fast food restaurant — we’re looking at you, Sonic — it would be worth picking up a slushie version next time you’re craving Mickey D’s fries.

Although the slushies are only being tested out in the Houston area, if they do well there, you might just see them show up at your own McDonald’s. false

And hopefully, that’s sooner rather than later, since summer will be here before you know it and we’re gonna need something to help cool us down.
