Matthew McConaughey has a secret YouTube account so that’s what we’re watching, obviously
When we think of Matthew McConaughey, we think of the southern gentleman who first won our hearts in Dazed and Confused, makes us unintentionally LOL in those Lincoln car ads, and makes us intentionally lol in movies. He’s also married to Camila Alves and has three gorgeous children.
And as if he couldn’t get any more amazing, it turns out, he also has his own YouTube channel, guys. And it’s not a massive channel with millions of subscribers (yet).
He has a humble — for him — subscriber count, at right around 70,000.
There are only six clips on the channel so far. The latest two promote a couple of his latest voice projects — Sing and Kubo and the Two Strings — but his other four are all about bringing awareness to important issues.

“Did you know that 1.2 million children in public school today are actually homeless?” he asks viewers in his first-ever video posted in September 2014. He goes on to promote I Am Water, which you can buy at Whole Foods and whose proceed go to providing clean drinking water for those homeless children.

In a video posted in the middle of last holiday season, he talks about the Just Keep Livin Foundation, which he founded with his wife Camila Alves and where he serves as CEO.
“Help us expand so we can provide more kids in inner-city schools the tools they need to lead healthy and more satisfactory lives, and have more hope for tomorrow,” he says, inviting users to join him in honor of #GivingTuesday.
We’d subscribe even if his channel was full of videos of just him saying, “All right, all right, all right,” every day, so whatever McConaughey is selling, we’re buying. YouTube on, sir. And thanks for using your notoriety for some great causes.
