Rejoice, “Master of None” Season 2 has a release date, and it’ll be back in TWO short months
Get excited because your favorite show from 2015 is coming back — and soon! Aziz Ansari’s Netflix hit Master of None is coming back for Season 2 on May 12th.
Master of None premiered on Netflix way back in November 2015 and followed the life of Dev (Aziz), an actor living in New York City. The show tackled relationships, race, and parents in comical and heart-warming ways. Aziz’s real-life parents were even in the show! And after winning awards for the first season, we’re excited that the show will be back soon for a second season!
This is awesome news and according to TVLine, we can expect Season 2 to again focus on Dev and “to take on challenges in his personal and family life, a new career opportunity, and a complex, developing relationship with someone very meaningful to him.”
Aziz announced the good news on Twitter, along with a teaser that provides very little information as to what we can expect in the new season. It’s short, but so pretty:

In the teaser, we just see Aziz and Eric Wareheim (who plays his best buddy Arnold on the show) cruising on some scooters looking like they don’t have a care in the world.
Last year when Season 2 started filming, Aziz shared the beginning via Instagram, getting us even more pumped for what Season 2 will bring.
In case you haven’t seen Season 1 of Master of None, you can check it out on Netflix now in preparation for the awesomeness of Season 2 that we’ll be so lucky to receive on May 12th!
