Whoa! Mary-Kate Olsen reportedly got married this weekend and surprised us all

Congrats may be in order for one half of the Olsen twins. According to multiple sources, Mary-Kate Olsen just got married!

The wedding should come as no surprise — since she’s been dating Olivier Sarkozy for three years — but the fact that it happened on a regular old Friday night in the middle of New York City is what’s catching us all of guard right now. But, both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen keep their private lives incredibly private, so if they want to throw a small, quiet wedding the day after Thanksgiving, then so be it.

While details are scarce, and the couple haven’t made a public statement regarding their widely reported nuptials,  Mary-Kate and banker Sarkozy, who’s the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, made things official during an intimate ceremony at a private NYC residence, according to Us Weekly. 

Page Six, who first reported the wedding, claimed “cocktails were served in a rear garden before the 50 guests dined indoors.” Guests were also asked to turn off their phones before the wedding, so we’re probably not going to get any Instagram shots of the Big Day anytime soon, if ever. Even though we really want to know more about this wedding — like was the dress from one of the twins’ celebrated collections—we’ll just have to wait until the couple spills the deets on their own.
