Mark Hamill shared the sweetest tribute to Carrie Fisher’s humor for her public memorial

It’s been three months since we lost Star Wars actress and comedian extraordinaire Carrie Fisher. Fans all over the world have been feeling the gap in our hearts. And Fisher’s co-star Mark Hamill is right there with us, sharing tributes on social media. Recently, he shared a sweet tribute to Fisher’s sense of humor, and it is pulling at our heart strings.
Yesterday was Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds’ public memorial service.
Both Fisher and Reynolds passed away in December. They had a private memorial service earlier, but this one was open to the public. Friends, family, and fans came to pay their respects and send love. However, there were two friends not in attendance that definitely caused some attention. Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford were absent from the event. But it’s understandable. According to the Los Angeles Times, they are traveling as part of their work with Star Wars.
Carrie would definitely approve.
Around the same time as the service, Hamill tweeted out this incredibly sweet and adorable tribute to Fisher’s formidable sense of humor from the road.
Then there was the time she promised if I went 1st-she'd heckle my funeral. Fiercely funny-I know she would also like us all to laugh today. pic.twitter.com/K2iQtA57W4

He then shared another tweet with photos of Fisher and Reynolds.
We Remember Them…
As long as we live, they too shall live.
For they are a part of us all. pic.twitter.com/D3obeK00PH— Mark Hamill (@MarkHamill) March 25, 2017
"We Remember Them... As long as we live, they too shall live. For they are a part of us all."
We are so obsessed with these adorable photos of Hamill and Fisher. You can really see what a great friendship they had and how much they loved goofing around together. We’ve also got to say we agree with him. Fisher always approached life with an incredible sense of humor. We’re pretty sure she would have wanted us to honor her in the same way.
So thank you to Mark Hamill for reminding us to remember Carrie Fisher by laughing a little. Even though we’re sad and miss her, it’s definitely what she would have wanted.
