Mark your calendars: The all-ladies “Ocean’s 11” has a release date
Do you have plans on June 8th, 2018? Don’t even bother checking your calendars, since it IS two years in the future, and it’s crazy making plans that far in advance.
But actually, go ahead and add something very important to that day: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has just announced that the all-ladies Ocean’s 11 reboot/revival/spin-off (whatever we’re calling it now) will open on this very day.

The movie so far has only seven super strong, powerful, and amazing ladies signed on to it right now: Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina. There’s space for one more lady, and supposedly, it’s going to be Sarah Paulson, and we’re like YAAASSSS.
They do, though, still need a bad guy lady for the movie, but hey, they’ve got time to find the *perfect* baddass female for the role.
The movie is set to start shooting VERY SOON in New York City, so you know what that means? Prepare to start seeing so many Instagram pictures of Mindy, Anne, and Rihanna hanging out and being all awesome together. Though it’s still going to take a while for this movie to get to us, we can already tell you that it’s going to be one of the BEST movies ever made.
