Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon show us how to coparent like pros

Mariah Carey may have just rolled out a brand new Christmas song, but even though she’s been busy totally rocking it, she makes sure to make time to celebrate the holidays with her kids — as well as their dad, Nick Cannon.

Last year, Mariah and Nick separated in August after six years of marriage, and they filed for divorce in December. It can be incredibly difficult to see your ex-partner after building a life together, but Nick and Mariah always put the kids first, as they recently proved after reuniting for some fun family time. And, TBH, we’re currently fawning over the adorableness that Nick recently posted to his Instagram.

Mariah and Nick hung out with their kids — four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan — and the four decorated the Christmas tree, along with Nick’s mother.

The twins also got to climb on their dad’s shoulders so they could decorate the very top, because Christmas, obviously. “With twins you gotta do everything twice, thus the 2 Angels on the tree!” Nick wrote on Instagram.

They made lots of holiday treats (that are making us a bit hungry, TBH):

And after they were finished, they all went out to celebrate a job well done.

“I don’t know who’s going to eat this mess. . . Santa????” Nick wrote in the caption of the finished creation.

So much cuteness. Mariah and Nick don’t let their personal troubles get in the way of giving their (adorable) kids a great Christmas — and for that, we respect them to the max.
