Mariah Carey and Britney Spears attend same dinner party, fans lose their minds

If you were to ask us what our fantasy dinner party would look like, it’d be something like this. Britney Spears and Mariah Carey attended a dinner party held by a mutual friend and decided to share a super cute photo to commemorate the moment. And after Spears posted it on Twitter, fans of the two icons pretty much lost their cool.

Here’s the fun thing about Carey and Spears — they’ve never had any sort of feud, nor has any bad blood ever emerged between them.

But it’s pretty obvious, based on this photo at least, that Spears would consider herself to be a member of the ever-growing Mariah Carey fan club.

(We have to admit, we’re also pretty happy that Spears included a photo of the food. Because, when “dinner party” is mentioned, we’re all about the food.)

Needless to say, everyone was pretty impressed.

Here’s a little bit of history between the two. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Carey admitted that she absolutely loves Spears. And back in 2015, Spears admitted that she partakes in a — well — colorful hobby while listening to Carey’s tunes.

"I love Mariah Carey. Still to this day," Spears said on Australia's 2DayFM Dan & Maz Show. "I was painting in my room. I have an art room, and I just paint on the walls and do all this kind of crazy stuff. I bought her new greatest hits, and her new Infinity record yesterday, and I was just in there with my top off, just like painting and doing all this artsy fartsy stuff."

So, without a doubt, this photo wasn’t just for show — these singers truly dig each other.
