Margot Robbie’s red carpet gown is one every craft queen will fawn over

We’re all about embellishments — bolder, bigger, louder! The more the merrier. Thankfully, the reign of DIY can be seen on everything from pom-pom accessorized bucket bags to patches on everything, and the trend is even hitting the red carpe,t so you know it’s the real thing.

The latest celebrity to get on the DIY inspired train is Margot Robbie, whose Prada gown is making crafters everywhere proud. Margot wore a cream floor-length gown with some major pizzaz. Multi-colored sequins and beads adorned the dress, giving us major fashion funfetti vibes, in the most posh way of course.

Margot showed off this look at the Time 100 Gala, wearing a pink clutch to complete the look.

We love that this dress is simple, but interesting; the classic silhouette makes all the embellishments feel fun and not overwhelming. Margot also kept her long hair slick and straight, complementing the shape of the dress perfectly and, once again, proving to us that she can rock anything.

We love the details on this dress. The sequins add plenty of dimension, not to mention fun, but Margot’s classic accessories help to keep the look elegant. With plenty of rings and perfectly manicured red nails, the whole look is dreamy.

Margot is proving to us that not only are we allowed to never take ourselves too seriously, but that our obsession with everything DIY and handcrafted isn’t going anywhere. And if we ever have a red carpet to attend, we can totally whip up something for ourselves.
