Mandy Moore and Shane West’s A Walk to Remember reunion will give you all the early-2000s feels

A Walk to Remember co-stars Mandy Moore and Shane West just reunited, and this will make you sing (read: sob) the lyrics to Moore’s heartstring-tugging pop ode “Cry.” The This is Us star received her official star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, March 25th, and among the attendees was West, who starred in the 2002 drama A Walk to Remember alongside her. At the ceremony, West gushed about their time on set of the beloved romance classic, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name.

“Not only was [A Walk to Remember] a wonderful experience in every way, it also gave me the chance to fall for this fantastic woman… Mandy, you’re an absolute gem. Your smile is ridiculous. Seriously, it’s ridiculous. It lights up a room when you walk in. Your energy is irresistible and your heart is second to none, West said.

He added, “I always knew you were incredibly talented and I always knew you were going to go on to do big things and amazing things, and you have… I couldn’t be more proud of you. I couldn’t be more happy for you.” We have so many feels right now.

Moore took to social media following the ceremony to gush about her co-star. She wrote, “Stars have always sort of been our thing. Thankful to @shanewest for his kind words on this very special day, one which I will never forget. It was a walk (of fame) to remember.”
