Mandy Moore just bought a gorgeous new house that would make her “This Is Us” character swoon
After going through something as emotionally devastating as a breakup — especially when said breakup is a full-on divorce — nothing feels better than finally moving on in a space of your own. Which is why we’re so, so happy to read that Mandy Moore got a new house in Pasadena, California, finally fully free of the Los Feliz home she once shared with ex-hubby Ryan Adams, and lived in for 14 freaking years.
The This Is Us star posted a photo celebrating the news to her Instagram page on Friday, honoring the talented “lady squad” that will transform the property from a house to a home.
“Look at those smiles ?,” she wrote. “After an exhaustive search, I finally found a new place to live and I am beyond thrilled to turn it into a home with the help of these talented ladies. Let’s get to work, @embbly and @sarahshermansamuel. ???????? #ladysquad”
Los Angeles Times reports that Moore purchased a Midcentury Modern-style home on a hilltop lot in the Linda Vista area for about $2.56 million, with “panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valley floor.”
Photos from the listing’s website reveal floor-to-ceiling windows, a whole lot of plant life, and of course, a beautiful swimming pool.
The listing also reveals that the home boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms, meaning Moore’s This Is Us character, Rebecca Pearson, would flip the eff out over the prospect of so much space for The Big Three to create utter chaos.
Lucky for Moore, her large brood of adopted dogs and cats — along with her longtime BFF Minka Kelly, of course – probably won’t cause as much damage as young Kevin, Kate, and Randall.
