Mandy Moore’s dark ombre hairstyle might be the best we’ve seen on her
Ah, hair. A good cut or color has the power to make us feel divine — like there’s nothing stopping us from embodying our most whole selves, and of course, looking fierce as heck while we’re at it. While some go for an all-over color to feel true to themselves, there are plenty who rock am ombre or balayage to really feel fabulous. Currently, Mandy Moore’s dark ombre is giving us some inspiration for our next hair appointment, and we’d argue this subtle but striking shade is the perfect look for the gloomy fall and winter months.
With the deep brown base, and soft transition into a warm caramel, all we want to know is where we have to go to copy this look. The key is the blending, which is seamless in Mandy’s case, because she’s Mandy. With a middle part and soft, shoulder-length waves, this hairstyle is head-turning without being overwhelming.
Mandy made her hair the center of attention by pairing the look with a navy blue turtleneck and a mid-rise striped skirt in a matching blue and lime green, which really helped to pull out the auburn hues of her hair.
She finished off the outfit with some blue velvet shoes, shining skin, and rosy lips.
The thing about a good hairstyle is that it takes any outfit to the next level. And while we’d argue that all of Mandy’s ensembles are next-level, we can’t help but love them even more with such an effortless ombre.
