This man created the most elaborate Christmas display we’ve ever seen, and now we feel inadequate

It’s hard to believe that it’s already December (and therefore almost Christmas), but IT IS, and you might be starting to think about getting a tree or stringing up some lights. And unless your house has already been transformed from top to bottom with holiday-themed things, prepare to feel kinda guilty (or ridiculously inspired).

So, this guy went on an extreme Christmas decorating spree, and transformed his house in the Netherlands into something you might see at an elaborate Christmas-themed festival or theater performance.

His name is Jack Baremans, and this is a ritual he performs every year…because he’s been Christmas decorating since childhood! Whaaaaaat.

So yeah…get ready to see more reindeers, jingle bells, Santa faces, Christmas trees, wreaths, nativity scenes and snowmen then you could EVER dream of.

DAMN. No wonder all that takes a month to prepare! This is either totally genius, or completely insane. But whatever your view, let’s just agree that this is an very impressive feat — because we thought the celebrity Christmas decorations from 2015 were something to write home about. Clearly, they have some competition!

Okay, we’ve officially been inspired to up our holiday game by like, 1,000%. Because we were proud of ourselves for buying some tinsel and candy canes.

And if the above display is actually making you feel bad about your own decoratons, seriously don’t sweat it. Because life is busy AF and  you should decorate your home in whatever way you see fit.

Whether you choose something elaborate or not, the holiday spirit is alive and kicking and that in and of itself is encouraging.
