Maluma just asked Selena Gomez to collaborate with him — and we are so ready

Talk about powerful collaborations made in heaven: Maluma just asked Selena Gomez to do a duet with him. Ball’s in your court, Selena! The worldwide hit sensation and Colombian reggeatonero asked the question in a recent interview with Billboard Latin. Looking directly at the camera, he addressed Selena Gomez:
"I would love to have a song with you. God bless you, you’re an example. I admire you. I feel a great admiration for you.
And we have no doubt that a new song between the two artists would be an absolute success.
However this is not the first time that we’ve been teased with this possible collaboration. In January, after a social media hiatus, Selena Gomez uploaded a picture holding a mic, captioned as, “Vente pa’ ca” – literally translated as come here.
However, we think this caption has more to do with Ricky Martin and Maluma’s song by the same name.

But the story continues.
This past January, Maluma and Selena Gomez started following each other. During Maluma’s interview with Billboard Latin, he was asked about Selena’s Instagram follow — because we all know that in the social media universe, a followback is basically the same as a REAL LIFE INTERACTION. He commented:
"It’s super cool that one of the greatest artists in the world knows who I am, and followed me. That is great news!"
Was that followback another hint at their possible collaboration? false
We’ve seen Shakira and Maluma — will we get to see Selena and Maluma? Will it be a reggaeton song? Will Selena sing in Spanish? Will Maluma sing in English? Too many questions.
But first things first, will Selena accept?!
