The internet has a lot to say about the RompHim — aka the romper for men
The romper is one of our go-to summer looks for so many reasons. It’s a little less formal than a dress, while still being breezy, comfortable, and hella cute for anything from a lazy pool day to a festival. Rompers have been traditionally worn by women…that is, until now. There’s a Kickstarter campaign for men’s rompers, and Twitter is understandably conflicted about this potential fashion trend.
Billed as “your new favorite summer outfit,” the RompHim (yes, seriously!) is gunning to take the men’s fashion world by storm, one summer barbecue at a time. The RompHim is a romper designed for men, by men, and we aren’t sure how we feel about it just yet.
According to the official website, the creators of RompHim realized men’s fashion was missing something. The four business school friends asked, “Why wasn’t there anything out there that allowed guys to be more stylish and fun without also sacrificing comfort, fit, and versatility?”
They added, “The more we thought about it, the more we realized that a romper hits all of these attributes — they can be dressed up or down and they’re unique, fashionable, and cool. But the one thing a romper didn’t have? A version for men. So we set out to fix that.”

Manufactured in their local Chicago area, the RompHim aims to “revolutionize men’s fashion, one piece at a time.” The friends have raised close to $50,000 of their original $10,000 goal in ONE day (!!), so it seems men are on board with the romper. But Twitter, on the other hand? Twitter has thoughts about the male romper.
And of course, Twitter has many thoughts.

false false
The RompHim currently comes in four versions, including a special edition 4th of July seersucker design. Suffice it to say, it certainly seems like men are ready to rock a romper this summer. You go, boys.
