This “Malcolm in the Middle” star just talked about a possible reunion!

Let’s be real for a second. Ever since America’s favorite quirky family from Malcolm in the Middle went off the air in 2006, we’ve missed them. Their crazy antics, non-stop hilarity, and overall charmingly functional dysfunction were some of the most consistently hilarious (and often embarrassingly relatable) stuff on TV.
And now, after a recent interview that Bryan Cranston gave to E! News, we have a spark of hope that maybe we’ll get to see the goofy family back together again. Cranston was asked if we would ever see a reunion for the show and he answered, “I sure hope so. I really do… For no other reason than I miss those people like crazy.”
After his own success as a totally different character on Breaking Bad, it’s surprising to hear that the actor would even consider coming back to such a silly role. He mentions that he keeps in touch with the other actors and keeps up with how they’re doing. He went on to explain, “We want to start talking about the possibility of putting together a story that makes sense about that family ten years later or twelve years later. And it’s not unheard of.”
When pressed for details about the what or how, he simply smiled and said, “All I want to do is tell the story and have a good experience.”
