Malala and Stephen Colbert are both GREAT at card tricks. So they had a friendly competition.
When you think Malala Yousafazai, you probably think “human rights advocate,” or “youngest ever Nobel prize winner,” or “my future best friend if all my shooting star and birthday candle wishes come true.” What you probably don’t think is “ace magician.” But you should, because, as it turns out, she most definitely is.
As People reports, Malala proved her sleight of hand skills when she recently guested on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Colbert and Malala each did a card trick on the show and, all due respect to Colbert, but Malala’s trick was way better. Not only was it way better, it was straight-up amazing. Also, Malala has that classic magician patter down cold. She’s obviously busy changing the world with her activism but if she’s ever looking for a second career, Vegas is waiting…
