From Ancient Egypt to the 1900’s, watch how much woman’s makeup has changed throughout history

BuzzFeedVideo took a diverse group of women and created this video to show us just how much woman’s makeup has changed through history.  From BC to the 1960’s we get to see the different ways makeup was used to accentuate, and sometimes fabricate, facial features for beauty and status from around the world. Although the video does not specify which looks were for vanity and which ones were forced on women to conform to an ideal beauty standard, it’s interesting to see which techniques and aspects of makeup were universally used throughout time.
