Makeup Geek just dropped their glorious new three-part lipstick collection
We are used to short YouTube videos premiering new products, but Marlena Stell, the queen behind Makeup Geek, has just released a video for their new lipstick collection that had our wallets out before the end credits rolled. If a regular product promo is a trailer for the product, think of Makeup Geek’s nearly 10-minute video as a blockbuster hit.
While premiering the ENTIRE lipstick collection, Marlena also gave us inside information on the process behind the line while also getting a chance to see the super innovative lipstick storing box that comes with it. Marlena considers herself a beauty educator and taught us that the production of Makeup Geek is done all custom in the US, which really gives the brand value over simple “label only’”makeup companies.
The Makeup Geek lipstick collection includes three types of products: The Iconic Lipsticks are highly-pigmented shades that come in both matte and shine finishes while The Plush Mattes are made with a velvety mousse formula that dries flat but stays soft. The Plush Cremes are a hybrid cream/mousse that sits on the lips without settling into fine lines and leaves a hit of a shine on the lips.

We love these fun colors like Daredevil and Wild Child! At only $12 we want them all!
Plush Cremes, $14
The cremes are a couple dollars more due to containing more actual product, which we definitely need!
As part of the launch day celebration, each type of product is currently available to purchase as a complete set!
The Iconic Lipstick set promptly sold out, but you can still get the Plush Lip Creme set for $85, and the Plush Lip Matte set for $150.
