A makeup artist did a Walmart Yodeling Boy-inspired eye look, and now we’ve seen it all
By now, we are certain that you’ve heard of Walmart yodeling boy, the child who went viral on Twitter for breaking out in song in the middle of a Walmart. Everyone is still thoroughly enjoying this hilarious video before it turns into the latest milkshake duck — we’ve even got a Walmart yodeling boy remix now. It was only a matter of time before this child was meme-d into existence, and it looks like even beauty Instagram has gotten involved, because a makeup artist created an eye look inspired by this young yodeling chap.
Honestly, we deserve this. It’s ridiculous, hilarious, and of course, insanely impressive! So before you roll your eyes at this, at least take a moment to enjoy how funny and inspired it is. Walmart yodeling boy clearly has a head for style, and a makeup homage seems fitting. You might recognize makeup artist @drownthecityy from her Stranger Things-inspired eye makeup look, and now she’s taken on the latest pop culture hit.
All you Walmart yodeling boy fans are in luck, because @drownthecityy gave followers a breakdown of the look.

First, she used Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde to prep her brows, then came the main event. Walmart yodeling boy came to life thanks to Mehron Makeup face paint, Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper, Morphe Brushes 35 Glam Palette and Tarte Tarteist Prop palette for shading, and finished it off with Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash.
She claims to have been tired whilst creating this masterpiece, but we don’t buy it for a second. It’s sheer perfection.
Somehow, @drownthecityy was able to capture Walmart yodeling boy’s posture and innocence all on her eyelid. Say what you will, but that takes talent. Would you dare?
