Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner just got in on the joke that they’ve gotten married
Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner may play (former) rivaling sisters Arya and Sansa Stark on HBO hit Game of Thrones, but everyone with a Twitter or Instagram account knows that they are the most adorable IRL besties. Continuing their tradition of being one of the best couples on the red carpet, Maisie and Sophie most recently attended the Golden Globes together, and looked killer.
And then… When scrolling through Golden Globes pics online, fans discovered a naming error and began joking that Williams and Turner had recently (and secretly) gotten married. Williams and Turner have since gotten wind of this and are LOVING it.
Here’s what happened: As Williams and Turner walked the red carpet, Turner took it upon herself to fix Williams’ train at all costs. One pic on Entertainment Weekly’s website mis-tagged Williams in the photo, calling her “Maisie Turner.” Naturally, Mophie fans thought this was funny and one tweeted a screengrab to the duo.

Earlier this year, Turner opened up about her friendship with Williams to Nylon. She said,
“I’ve always seen Maisie as this rebellious, cool kid, while I’m more passive-aggressive, or else just passive. I hate that about myself, and I love that Maisie is just who she is. We spent the past five years basically sharing a hotel room (even though we each had our own), having endless sleepovers, lots of line rehearsals, and lots of food and messing about, too.
We love their amazing friendship and ~if~ they ever do decide to get married, we hope they share the pics with us!
