Maisie Williams is not too happy with people who leak “Game of Thrones” spoilers

Winter might have arrived, but Maisie Williams still doesn’t want people to leak Game of Thrones spoilers thank you very much.

As things stand, we’re ferociously hungry for any information about the last two seasons of Game of Thrones that we can get. While Maisie herself has teased information about what we can expect for her character, Arya Stark, in the show’s upcoming seventh season, some leaked pictures from the set have confirmed even more about the character. However, the show has been plagued with quite severe leaks, and the rumored entire plot for season seven allegedly leaked on Reddit last year.

Well, now Maisie has some choice words for those who leak plot lines, and we wouldn’t mess with her, tbh.

Speaking to Radio Times, the 19-year-old actor said that those people who leaks spoilers for show ruined it for others.

"‘It hurts. It’s just like, oh we wanted to tell this story, and yeah, lots of people don’t want to read it, and don’t want to look at it," she said. "But then it’s even more annoying when you know [the leaks] might be from someone on the inside, and it’s just like… you’re trying to make something really cool, that is really cool and people really like, and it’s like 'stop ruining it.'"

Maisie also said that she felt it was “childish” and “sad” that people leaked stuff.

“I don’t know if that’s unexpected, that I’d be like ‘Oh, I don’t really mind!’ People still watch it, but it does really grind my gears,” she revealed.

Maisie Williams isn’t the first cast member to lament the amount of spoilers that get leaked around the show. Last year, Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei, took to Twitter to chastise the leaks.

Meanwhile, Maisie Williams also said that while she’d enjoyed her time on GoT she was ready for a change.

"I’m excited because it means I can do absolutely anything I want, she said. “I could go away for three years and… travel the world, or I could write a film… I could do anything, and it’s quite exciting.

Too right!

The seventh season of Game of Thrones is expected to air on HBO later this year.
