Maisie Williams is a dead ringer for Keira Knightley’s “Atonement” character at the “Game of Thrones” premiere
Yup, Maisie Williams is that girl. You know the one: stylish, put together, sweet, and so charming. The Game of Thrones star may be growing up in the spotlight, but she’s doing so with grace and humor — and style to boot. Even after several premieres, we still love to see what Maisie wears on the red carpet.
Her latest look is a fresh green slip dress that is serving us Keira Knightley in Atonement. And we’re not mad, because nostalgia makes for great fashion.
While we’ve seen plenty of slips over the past season — hello, ’90s! — we tend to see them in neutrals, with the occasional Millennial pink, of course. But Maisie is giving us second thoughts. Why haven’t we tried a slip in Pantone’s color of the year, Greenery, anyway? If there’s one thing this red carpet look is proving to us, it’s that a little green never hurt anybody.
While you could pair this dress with a leather jacket and some Dr. Martens, you could just as easily wear it à la Maisie with single-strap sandals and a clutch.
Not only does Maisie look like a stand-out in this thigh-high slit dress, but when we said she looked like Keira Knightley in Atonement, we weren’t exaggerating. The only real noticeable difference between the two dresses is that Keira’s has a drop waist and a ’40s-style silhouette. We love the reference to this look, even if it’s unintentional.
Maisie always looks stunning and, clearly, this look is no exception.
