Madonna Playfully Hints She Might be Gay in Now-Viral TikTok Video
The LGBTQ+ icon may have officially announced her sexual identity...or she might just be messing with us.
What do Madonna, the color pink, and a sexually ambiguous statement have in common? They are all part of the legendary singer’s latest viral TikTok video, and fans are desperately trying to figure out if there is an obvious message behind it.
The five-second clip shows the singer holding some hot pink underwear, the same color as her hair, in an all-white outfit presumably in her all-white bathroom — based on previous clips she’s made.

“If I miss, I’m Gay!” the caption on the video declares, as she tosses the undies towards a tiny trash bin. They miss, crumple into a pile on the ground a few feet from the trash bin, and she waves herself off-camera at the end.
So…is Madonna officially ‘out’ now? Or is this a ‘new album’ soon to be released?

The 64-year-old Grammy Award winner has always been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, and has been a major icon for many in the community. Songs like “Vogue,” “Express Yourself,” and more, have become important anthems during Pride events.
But while the artist has even shared a kiss onstage with pop star protege Britney Spears during the 2003 VMAs, she’s never explicitly identified as queer, bisexual, or otherwise.
“Everybody has a bisexual nature,” she told LGTBQ+ magazine, The Advocate, in 1991. “That’s my theory.”
She’s been married twice, to leading man Sean Penn and producer Guy Ritchie, and is known for dating men significantly younger than her to the point that her dating rules are almost as “particular” as Leonardo DiCaprio’s.
But little is known about her sexual relationships with women. It seems she’s kept that part of her herstory pretty quiet.
Fans are dying to know if the classic “Material Girl” is officially announcing she is into girls via TikTok, or if she’s…just being regular ol’ Madge (remember when she kind of had a British accent?)
“Did I just witness Madonna coming out, good for her,” TikTok user @UNPOCOLOCOOOO posted in the comments, where other followers wondered the same thing.
But for some, this doesn’t feel like news, but more of an affirmation. “Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades my dudes 😂,” posted TikTok user @MalLynne, who prompted others to share their opinions as well.
She may have penned “Justify My Love” but in reality, Madonna is such a star she doesn’t have to justify much to remain relevant. Until there’s a follow-up, we’ll just have to take her word for it!
