Madonna’s Upcoming Tour Spanning 4 Decades of Music Sells Out Within Minutes
The singer has added 23 more dates to meet the demand.
Madonna’s upcoming ‘The Celebration Tour’ announcement got fans so excited, it sold out in New York, Paris and London within minutes, prompting the singer to add 23-more dates in Los Angeles, Boston and Montreal. Tickets went on sale Friday, with 600,000 of them almost immediately accounted for, reports Billboard.
51 shows went on sale on Jan. 23, with 35 of them completely sold out by 5p.m that day, states the magazine. Tickets for remaining shows will be available to the general public on Jan. 27, the tour’s promoter Live Nation told Billboard.
It begins July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, and will feature song’s from the 64-year old’s impressive career spanning four decades. She still holds the Guinness Book of World Records’ title of top-selling female artist of all time, beating out other mega-stars like Britney Spears, Janet Jackson and Cher.
Madge announced the tour with a clever video on her TikTok account, showing her seated around a dinner table with Lil’ Wayne and Amy Schumer, among other stars, asking fans to “come join the party.” This is the first time the superstar is hitting the road since her 2015/2016 ‘Rebel Heart’ Tour.

The ‘Vogue’ singer is also in the news for sharing personal details about her private family life. While she may be an open book about most things (she wrote an entire book dedicated to sex), the mother-of-six recently gave some rare insight into her challenges as a mom — telling Italian, French, and Spanish Vanity Fair “it has been the most difficult, the hardest battle.”
Fittingly, Madge graces the cover of the magazine’s “icon issue,” wearing an elaborate headdress and pictured with a heart and several swords protruding from it. The ‘Like a Virgin’ singer describes having children and raising them as “a work of art,” and says she’s still struggling today to “understand how to be a mother and do my job.”
She continues, “no one gives you a manual. You have to learn from mistakes. It is a profession that requires a lot of time. And it is exhausting because there is never rest.”

The Grammy award winner is a mom to 26-year-old Lourdes (Lola) with ex Carlos Leon, Rocco, 22, with ex Guy Ritchie, and adopted children David, 17, Mercy, 16, and twins Estere and Stella, both 10.
“Each of them has discovered their own creativity and that it comes from an authentic place,” shares Madonna. “I have never encouraged my daughter Lola to make music or my son Rocco to paint. But I’ve always exposed them to art, to music, and I’m happy that they’ve found ways to express themselves. I have respect and admiration for them and for what they do.”
It doesn’t seem like the super mom is interested in resting anyway; most 60-something year olds aren’t heading out on a massive world-tour!
