Madonna defends BFF Rosie O’Donnell from Donald Trump in this perfect, heartfelt Tweet
So, you probably watched last night’s presidential debate (it kinda feels like the entire world was watching), and chances are you remember the part where Trump slammed Rosie O’Donnell, whom he’s made derogatory comments about in the past.
To refresh your memory, this is what Trump said exactly: “I said very tough things to her. And I think everybody would agree that she deserves it, and nobody feels sorry for her.”
This came right after Clinton had raised the point that Trump has a history of slandering women ( relevant, because it’snot exactly an ideal quality for the president of the United States).

And then longtime friend MADONNA came to O’Donnell’s defense like a champion! We don’t hear from this superstar very often, but she didn’t waste any time in showing her support.

The two have been friends for years, and in times like these, it’s pretty easy to see why. Trump’s comments were immature, unnecessary, and uncalled for, and we’re glad that he’s being called out for his behavior in such a graceful way. Quite simply, women deserve better.
