MAC’s new collaboration with Taiwanese motion graphic designer is an explosion of powerful colors
MAC Cosmetics has a new collaboration in the works with Taiwanese graphic designer Min Liu, and it’s mystically gorgeous!
Min Liu is the designer behind Ms MIN, a fashion line that blends modernity with tradition, and rich fabrics with sophisticated silhouettes. She’s brought her original take on classical Chinese themes and designs to her collaboration with MAC. The shades in the collection include reds, pinks, and metallics, all meant to capture the flow of energy that connects us with nature and each other.
MAC Cosmetics Senior Vice President/Creative Director, James Gager said:
"We’ve continually loved Min’s collections. It’s been amazing to watch her become the force in contemporary Chinese design she is today. We’re fascinated with her modern take on traditional Chinese motifs, making us want to find a way to work together. When we first met, she brought a piece of fabric with indomitable red, deep peony pink and metallic details, which became the centerpiece of the collection’s design. It’s been a joy to partner with Min to create a subtle and elegant collection. I can’t wait to show the entire world the result!"
