This is exactly how MAC’s new “pizza cutter” shaped eyeliner works

In general, we know that we can trust MAC with our makeup, skin, and souls, so when they release innovative or unusual new products we happily hop right on the bandwagon and know we’ll look spectacular no matter what. Their latest is a unique take on liquid liner, with a “pizza cutter” shaped liner (cleverly coined by Trendmood) that will ensure that our winged liner will be sharp as hell! We’ve been curious to see exactly how the Rollerwheel Liquid Liner works since we first heard of it, and thanks to MAC makeup artist Ashley Rudder, we now have a first-hand account of how to apply it and how it looks.
Okay, so our first thoughts are that it looks like it could be slightly precarious for those of us with shaky hands, but we have to admit that it looks like it glides on really well. The coverage is even and inky, and so long as you can keep your hand steady it comes out as a perfectly straight line with little room for error!
We were initially worried that the Rollerwheel Liquid Liner would be a gimmick, but it looks to be super effective. Think of all that time you’ll save next time you’re struggling to give yourself a cat eye.
We’re also super impressed by that patent leather finish look. It’s dewy and wet looking but appears to stay put. We’d be curious to hear how it holds up after a few hours.
What are your thoughts on this unique take on liquid liner? We admit that so far we like what we see, and would definitely be curious to try it for ourselves. And as always, we applaud MAC for their never-ending creativity!
