MAC Cosmetics’ newly revamped Lipglass collection is coming out VERY soon
For a lot of us, MAC Lipglass was our first fancy makeup purchase. It was a step up from our scented roll on glosses and a far cry from our Lip Smackers collection. Once you coughed up $16 of your limited high school budget for MAC lipglass, you were *COOL.*
MAC is revamping their lipglasses with new packaging and a whole slew of new shades. We’ve seen a few sneak peeks trickle in from social media but until now we had no official deets. It’s confirmed now guys, MAC’s revamped lipglasses will hit stores on March 23rd.
The new 26 shades of the lipglass collection will feature a double wall vial packaging and include shades inspired by other MAC lip products. (We’re guessing the creme sheens and lustre glasses will be part of the mix.)

While MAC did not mention a change to the formula, true makeup junkies know that brands don’t always announce when a product has been improved. We’re willing to bet that the gloss has been improved since it did have a reputation for being super duper sticky.

This isn’t the only change coming to MAC. Starting in May, you’ll be able to shop MAC in over 100 Ulta locations! As one of the most influential brands from the early aughts, we love to see how the beauty brand continues to shake things up and remain the cool, edgy brand we always loved.
