Lyft is offering discounted rides for the rest of the month for Women’s History Month—here are the details
To celebrate Women’s History Month (and International Women’s Day on March 8th), Lyft is providing discount codes for riders visiting statues, museums, monuments, and women-owned businesses, among other female-centric locations. We can thank Valerie Jarrett, Lyft board member and former senior advisor to President Barack Obama, for this offer.
“Throughout the month, you’ll learn which places helped contribute to the journey of community leaders like Brittany Packnett, Kim L. Hunt, and others,” Jarrett wrote regarding her favorite female-centric spots in D.C. on the Lyft blog. “When I invited women to share their stories, I looked for a range of women people can identify with—women who make you think, ‘I could be like them.’”
To celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth, we’re offering $10 off rides to select places that honor women’s contribution to history and women-owned businesses. Learn more on our blog, plus see the DC places our board member, @ValerieJarrett recommends. https://t.co/wuhLUnzRFg

“For Women’s History Month,” Jarrett continued, “Lyft is offering ride credit to help make these locations more accessible and affordable for everyone. It’s so exciting because—let’s face it—sometimes the impediment to people visiting these wonderful places is that they simply can’t afford to get there.”
Enter the promotional code for your city into your Lyft app to reap the rewards, available until March 31st. If you don’t see your city below, check out the Lyft blog to find your promo code and see where you can go to celebrate Women’s History Month.
