Lydia Hearst’s wedding dress was a pink lover’s dream

When you’re planning a wedding, one of the first things you start searching for is the dress. It’s the show-stopper — everyone will be talking about it and it’s one area (okay ONE of the many areas) of the big day that most women want to make sure is 100% perfect.

When publishing heiress of Hearst Magazines, Lydia Hearst, wed her fiancé, Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, she took the untraditional route for her wedding gown. Her choice was so *flawless* we feel a trend coming on.

The 31-year-old bride wore a custom-designed Christian Siriano gown featuring long, sparkly sleeves, tons of tulle, and a stunning pink-and-white ombré design. Her 44-year-old groom looked handsome in his tuxedo designed by Prada.

She had previously shared a sneak peek of the gorgeous gown on her Instagram.

Prior to the wedding, Hearst told People she was looking forward to being “blissfully happy” after their big day.

“I could never have envisioned a more perfect wedding day,” she says. “It’s better and more magical than I could have ever dreamed of … It’s going to be perfect, and even if it isn’t that’s how it was meant to be. I’m more excited than anything else!”

“We had Jawas, astromech droids, zombies and a TARDIS cake,” Hardwick shared on Instagram about their wedding reception. “Also an incredible 1st dance performance by Clay Walker. We were also surrounded by the most wonderful collection of good humans and it was an honor to share this a day with them.”

Congratulations to the happy couple — and seriously, that dress!
