Lupita Nyong’o tries stand-up with “Billy on the Street,” and of course it’s adorable
If you haven’t checked out Billy on the Street on TruTV, you should. The show features hilarious and loud comedian Billy Eichner asking pedestrians on the street questions about pop culture. Tomorrow night, Lupita Nyong’o works out her stand-up routine with Billy in front of pedestrians, and it’s adorably hilarious.
Billy takes Lupita out onto the street to read very raunchy jokes from various comedians. The result is pretty hilarious as the lovely Lupita says some very uncharacteristic dialogue at unwitting strangers on the street. And Lupita is totally up to making a fool of herself telling jokes, which just makes us love her more.

OMG this is too much! Lupita’s joke skills definitely leave a few pedestrians in a bit of a quandary. But who can blame them? Lupita’s trying to read some pretty graphic jokes, like this gross bit from Louis C.K.

Beyond Lupita’s adorable joke telling, the best moment is when it takes this girl a few seconds to recognize Lupita.
It took Billy Eichner saying, “12 Years a Slave” to get it to dawn on this woman, but her reaction is SO perfect.
Lupita does tons of awesome stuff like this that stretches her comfort zone. And she clearly had a great time, because she’s pretty proud of her appearance.
