Lupita Nyong’o answers 73 crazy questions in three different languages, is wonderful

We already knew Lupita Nyong’o was a superstar. The Oscar-winning actress wowed us back in 2013 in her performance as Patsey in 12 Years a Slave, and she’s wowing us again in this video posted by Vogue in which she answers 73 questions in eight minutes. She does an amazing job.

For instance, Lupita’s first thought this morning? “Where is my hat?” Her favorite thing to do in Brooklyn? Go to the farmer’s market, walk in the park and see a movie. Her favorite comedy? Bridesmaids. Lupita, I think we’re going to get along great.

But the most impressive part? She speaks Swahili, saying, “Hurry Hurry has no blessing,” and then Spanish, saying “I like talking to you like this.” If that wasn’t crazy enough, she then goes on to hula-hoop while answering questions. Not just hula-hoop, but hula-hoop while walking.

I’m starting to think there isn’t anything she can’t do. After moving to Mexico when she was 16, going on to work as a production assistant in Hollywood, and then getting her MFA at Yale, it’s a wonder she still has the energy to stand up in those totally awesome heels, let alone be one of the most brilliant (and fun!) actresses on the scene today.

For instance, Lupita’s latest role is in the upcomoing movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens, for which she says she had to wear “more than 168” CGI dots to play her character Maz Kanata. She won’t, however, tell us anything about the film, which is slated to come out December 18. Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to see it in theaters. Maybe after going to the farmer’s market and taking a walk in the park.
