Lucy Liu’s outer space dress is full-on intergalactic couture
Lucy Liu’s latest red carpet style is out of this world!
The Elementary actress arrived at New York Comic Con and blew us away with her killer style. Liu proved that outer space can actually be astro couture with her Comic Con look and we’re still freaking out about it.
On October 7, the 47-year-old actress stepped out for Comic Con and her style was perfectly on point with the event. Usually people rock crazy, extravagant costumes at Comic Con, and while Liu didn’t show off her cosplay side, she did rock a other-worldy ensemble that you’ll love.
Liu wore a space-tastic black dress while she posed on the red carpet.
Before she took the stage alongside her fellow Elementary co-star, Johnny Lee Miller, the Charlie’s Angels star showed off her killer legs in a short, fitted frock.
The dress shape might’ve been simple, but the detailing was anything but ordinary.
In fact, the whole dress was covered in space embroidery, figures and colorful designs. There were moons, space ships and even solar system drawings placed throughout the frock. Basically it was a galactic explosion!
While Liu’s outer space-printed dress is our favorite part of her NYCC look, the star seemed to be in love with her shoes and we don’t blame her.
She even did a little dance while showing off the two-toned Bruno Magli pumps, which she designed, that are appropriately named the "Lucy."
In order to keep the focus on her dress, Liu opted for a more subtle makeup and hair look. She pulled her long locks back into a low ponytail, and used very natural tones as her makeup.
To say that we’re obsessed with out-of-this world design would be an understatement.
Just look at all those spacial designs, they're so fun and funky. The overall print is sassy, spacey, and so special.
What do you think of Liu’s galaxy explosion dress?
