This photo proves that Lucy Hale should play Audrey Hepburn
Another day, another Instagram slay. And for Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, her ability to do so on the social media platform comes effortlessly. It’s just been announced that the actress picked up a new role in Blumhouse Production’s new thriller Truth or Dare. And, of course, the news sent us over the moon with excitement. However, we may have Lucy’s next perfect role pegged already. And her recent Instagram photo totally proves that her playing Audrey Hepburn would make so much sense.
You totally read that correctly. Dressed in the chicest of chic outfit, Lucy stood next to a black and white portrait of the Breakfast at Tiffany’s actress, and blew us away. Her hair was perfectly slicked back, and her bright red lip was very Hepburn-esque.
There’s no way you can look at this photo and say that Lucy isn’t wonderfully reminiscent of the legendary entertainer.
We know that looking like the character is just half the battle. But, after reviewing Lucy’s resume, there’s no denying that she has the chops to pull this off.
Can we talk about how an Audrey Hepburn biopic is definitely needed?
We’d love to see new accounts of what happened the behind the scenes of our favorite Hepburn classics. Her artistry, philanthropy and fashion inspiration alone is enough to pack theaters across the world with fans.
And OK, even if Lucy Hale isn’t the actress to land the gig, we’d still totally be down for a biopic on the legend. But if it was Hale, we won’t hesitate to bask in knowing that we were the first to bring it to your attention that she should. Oh, and will definitely throw out a few “told you so’s” as well.
Just know that we’re on the Lucy Hale bandwagon over here. The star could honestly do no wrong in our book.
