Couples are ditching traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, and we're here for this new wedding trend
As you probably know, wedding traditions have changed a lot over the years. For instance, some bridesmaids wear the same color dress, but not necessarily the same style. In the latest twist, couples are ditching traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, according to Glamour, and we’re here for this wedding trend.
If you’ve been to a wedding lately, you may have even seen this trend in action. Instead of the standard groomsmen, you may have seen groomswomen, and instead of bridesmaids, you may have seen bridesmen. After all, some people may have more close friends of a different gender, so if you’re a woman with more guy friends than girlfriends, why not make them bridesmen?
We don’t know about you, but we’re loving this variation on the traditional bridesmaids-and-groomsmen scenario. We definitely say “I do!”to this new wedding trend!

It’s about time, right? And in case you haven’t been to a wedding with groomswomen or bridesmen, here are some people who have — and who have participated in the new marital tradition non-tradition.

Bridesmen are becoming more and more popular, too.
