Trouble in paradise continues for one of our silliest, favorite-ist celeb couples. . Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s marriage might be on the line because of Ellen DeGeneres. And it all has to do with a chair — a really comfy, but super enormous chair.

An Instagram war broke out between the married couple over Shepard’s La-Z-Boy recliner. So Bell decided she needed to stop by The Ellen Show on Friday to tell her side of the story. Which is exactly what she did.

But just so we’re all the same page, here’s a photo of the chair in question and Bell’s thoughts on the matter.

“This is not a bit,” Bell captioned the photo she posted to Instagram a few weeks ago. “@daxshepard has sincerely suggested the new home for the lazy boy from his office be in the center of my living room. He made an adorable argument about how epic his TV viewing experience will be if I let him keep it there. The man has lost his mind. #chiphappens”

Of course, Shepard fired back to his wife’s fighting words with his own hilarious post.

“My wife, in an attempt to discredit my character, will be posting a similar picture, but with the expressed intention of attacking my sense of style in home furnishings,” he wrote. “The proof of this Lazyboy’s aesthetic appeal is written all over my face. #getcomfy #functionbeforefashion”

OK, now that we’re all caught up…

After DeGeneres showed a photo to the audience of the ridiculous brown leather chair placed directly in the middle of the couple’s living room, Bell took the blame.

“It’s my fault — I bought it,” Bell said. “Can you believe that?!”

“Look where it is,” DeGeneres said, in shock.

As the two of them shared their mutual hatred of the La-Z-Boy, Bell eventually switched the blame over to DeGeneres.

“But also, this is kind of your fault, and he pointed that out,” Bell said. “The thing is, I actually maybe would have gone for it had I not come to your house and seen how jaw-droppingly elegant it was. I can’t come to your house anymore, that’s the point. I wanted to tell you: I can’t come over anymore. It’s bad for my marriage.”

Check out the interview:

Hopefully Shepard and Bell can work out their differences for the sake of their marriage and the sanctity of their living room.
