Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan Tatum have a seemingly spicy relationship, so when Jenna dishes relationship advice, you ~know~ we’re all ears. AKA, whatever these two are doing in their relationship is clearly working!

The 36-year-old actress-dancer opened up to Redbook about how she keeps her relationship’s spark alive after 10-plus years of commitment in the spotlight. And as it turns out, her number one secret isn’t anything she does for her hubby at all…it’s what she does for herself! We’re over here like YASSS.

“I think all women should keep [their relationships] exciting for themselves,” Jenna told Redbook magazine, which she covers this month. “People always ask, ‘Do you do anything to keep it fresh for your man?'”

Now, Jenna, that makes a lot of sense!

Since meeting on the set of Step Up back in 2006, Jenna and Tatum have blossomed into the A-list stars that they are together. And based on their heartfelt words of love and PDA-packed pictures, these two have created a love that belongs in storybooks. But while it may look it, their relationship is definitely not 100 percent perfect.

The most challenging aspect of her relationship? “Communication,” she says.

“You change when you’re together from 25 to 35. I think maybe in my early ’20s, I might have tiptoed around issues or didn’t want to make too many waves,” Jenna told Redbook.

“Now it’s like, ‘This is how I’m feeling.’ You have to be okay with the other person becoming defensive, to let them be emotional and accept that it won’t be okay for a while.”

Now excuse us while we go rewatch Step Up for the umpteenth time and cry over how sweet these two are together. #relationshipgoals
