Ah, Aquarius season — a vibrant mix of intuitive water energies and high-vibe air energies. The water bearer asks us to think of other’s needs, to think of how we can best serve ourselves by serving others. But of course, Aquarius does this in a way that’s completely unique. On February 15th, we have an Aquarius New Moon and a solar eclipse, which is perfect for taking a second to stop, drop, and check in when it comes to love. Coming the day after Valentine’s Day makes this moon a perfect time to talk to your romantic partner about what you want out of your relationship as well. If there’s ever been a time to think about what you want to grow in the coming months, it’s now.

To see how we could best utilize this energy for reassessing relationships, we talked to astrologer extraordinaire and horoscope queen for Coveteur, Amelia Quint. She says,

If you’re looking to have these conversations with your partner, you can also try honoring this by holding space for one another; by creating an environment that makes you feel safe, calm, and cared for. Try burning some incense or diffusing some oil, or using the smoke of sacred herbs like palo santo or sage to clear the energy of your space. Put on some music and as you create a dialogue, listen with your whole being. Feel what your partner is saying and recognize what emotions come up in your body when you’re listening.

Honoring your own needs is vital in a relationship, and figuring out what you’re looking for can be tricky. Giving yourself some space to do just that is vital, and will help you make most out of this Aquarius New Moon.
