When you think “first date” do you immediately think of Cheesecake Factory? That intimate Italian restaurant where all the waiters know your name and bring you free extra bread without you even asking? The movie theater? A bright, grassy park with benches that lend themselves to romantic get-to-know-you conversations? Well, think again. The most popular place to have your first date is Starbucks!

According to the dating app Clover (which conducted the study), most of the top restaurants to meet your new boo (or boo-to-be-or-not-be) are quick, convenient, and casual. Which makes sense, because who has time for dates, amiright?

Clover was able to gauge the popularity of restaurants and their date attendees by analyzing their user data. According to TIME, the app has an option that “allows its users to select a nearby location to meet up with a date,” so the company examined its 200,000 users whereabouts. They found that Starbucks, Chipotle, Panera, The Cheesecake Factory, and Texas Roadhouse were the most popular places to go on a first romantic rendezvous.

Clover even went a step further, and broke the numbers down by age. While the findings make sense (the older you are, the more likely you can afford a nice place to eat, like Yard House. The younger you and your date may be, the more likely you’ll want to save a few bucks and grab a burrito). Yet, Starbucks was still consistently THE place to go for a first date.

And hey, we get it. The lure of a piping hot latte or caramel-laden Frappuccino is just too great to pass up. Plus, we can’t deny the chill ambiance Starbucks provides —perfect for getting to know someone. Drink up, daters!
