LELO, a Swedish intimacy company, has been making headlines for its Hex condom — a newly designed prophylactic promising less breakage and increased pleasure.

Hex condoms are thinner and constructed with a “revolutionary hexagonal” latex structure, as explained on the company website.

The result of which is an incredibly durable condom — as Mashable reports, their reporters couldn’t even break a sample Hex condom with a needle!

LELO aims to mass produce Hex, the biggest condom innovation in decades, and the company is currently running an Indiegogo campaign to secure funding.

And so far, the condom has raised $1 million from interested backers!

The huge amount of money getting thrown at the new condom proves people are more than ready for more reliable and more pleasurable methods for having safe sex.

Here’s hoping that Hex condoms will be more widely available soon!
