Love is in the air—can you feel it?

. . . I know. It’s terrible. And it doesn’t exactly help that it’s almost Valentine’s Day. Don’t worry, we totally feel you. The love and the candy hearts and the stuffed bears and the candlelight just aren’t for everyone. But it doesn’t mean you can’t totally get behind some honest to goodness, downright wonderful love quotes from some of our favorite movies. These just might even give you the warm and fuzzy feeling you’ve been craving (even if you’re trying to get as faaaaaaaar away from love as possible).

Sleepless in Seattle: It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together. . . and I knew it.

Steel Magnolias: I would rather have three minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special.

Blue is the Warmest Color: I have infinite tenderness for you and I will my whole life.

Bridget Jones’ Diary: No, I mean I like you very much. Just as you are.

Juno: In my opinion the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person will still think the sun shines out of your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.

Never Been Kissed: School is still the same; there’s still that one guy that you get up and go to school for in the morning. The one with the mysterious confidence that every girl falls for. Those years of school wouldn’t have been the same without him. I wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Before Sunrise: Loving someone, and being loved, means so much to me. We always make fun of it and stuff. But isn’t everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?

Before Sunset: I guess when you’re young, you just believe there’ll be many people with whom you’ll connect with. Later in life, you realize it only happens a few times.

Before Midnight: If you want love, then this is it. This is real life. It’s not perfect but it’s real.

Pretty in Pink: You said you couldn’t be with someone who didn’t believe in you. Well I believed in you. I just didn’t believe in me. I love you.

Annie Hall: Love is too weak a word for what I feel — I luuurve you, you know, I loave you, I luff you, two f’s

Gone With the Wind: No, I don’t think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That’s what’s wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.

Good Will Hunting: It doesn’t matter if the guy is perfect or the girl is perfect, as long as they are perfect for each other.

The Incredibles: You are my greatest adventure.

Angels in the Outfield: Love is that can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, World Series kinda stuff.

When Harry Met Sally: When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

The Bridges of Madison County: It seems right now that all I’ve ever done in my life is making my way here to you.

Brokeback Mountain: Tell you what. Truth is, sometimes I miss you so bad I can hardly stand it.

My Best Friend’s Wedding: I’ve loved you for nine years, I’ve just been too arrogant and scared to realize it. And, well, now I’m jut scared. So, I realize this comes at a very inopportune time, but I really have this gigantic favor to ask of you. Choose me, marry me, let me make you happy. Oh, that sounds like three favors, doesn’t it?

Casablanca: Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time.

A Knight’s Tale: The pieces of my broken heart are so small that they could be passed through the eye of a needle. I miss you like the sun misses the flower; like the sun misses the flower in the depths of winter. Instead of beauty to direct its light to, the heart hardens like the frozen world your absence has banished me to.

You’ve Got Mail: The odd thing about this form of communication is that you’re more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just want to say that all this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings.

Four Weddings and a Funeral: I always just hoped that, that I’d meet some nice friendly girl, like the look of her, hope the look of me didn’t make her physically sick, then pop the question and… um… settle down and be happy.

The Princess Bride: Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.
