We’ve written extensively about how much we love Leslie Jones’ hilarious Olympic-inspired tweets and subsequent commentator job offer at NBC. Well, we’re even more thrilled to say that her tweets have helped form our new favorite duo since Leslie Knope and Ann Perkins: Leslie Jones and volleyball superstar Kerri Walsh Jennings!

It all began a couple of nights ago when Kerri discovered Jones’s many videos cheering her and her partner, April Ross, on, and she came away a changed Olympian.

“I was dying!” Jennings told Yahoo Sports. “I love her. She’s perfect to me.”

She’s perfect to us, too!

Kerri decided to tweet her newfound fandom to the source:

Leslie was, of course, thrilled:

When Kerri was in need of an emotional boost, she reached out to Leslie, as all Olympians should. And Leslie did not disappoint:

Seriously, can Leslie Jones just be a professional emotional coach? She’s the best.

Kerri then credited Leslie for Team USA’s win.

Leslie then shared the news that she’d be there in person to root her new bestie on:

Kerri was, of course, thrilled by this news.

We can’t wait for the two to meet in person! And neither can Leslie.

We’re loving this new friendship!
