Louis Tomlinson’s announced his new single release date, and it’s not nearly soon enough
We’re ~huge~ fans of the guys behind One Direction, both together and separately. Now, Louis Tomlinson’s announced his new single release date, reported Metro, and it’s not nearly soon enough. July 21st is the date we’re waiting for — just three more long, lonnnng weeks! Of course, Tomlinson is not the only member of One Direction to be making music lately — we still can’t stop listening to Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times,” for instance. Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne, too, have done an ahhh-mazing job getting their songs repeating in our Spotify playlists. Of course, aside from making music, Payne also became a dad this year!
Without further ado, here’s Tomlinson’s tweet announcing the date his new single, “Back To You,” ~finally~ drops!

Tomlinson co-wrote the single, which will also feature singer Bebe Rexha and DJ Digital Farm Animals.

“I’m so excited to announce my single Back To You with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals is out on July 21st, Tomlinson said, reported Metro. “With this song we wanted to write something a little less soppy. It’s about that one person that no matter how hard you try, you keep coming back to.
According to Metro, the track ~may~ be about his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. ICYMI, they got back together last year. Here’s a throwback photo of them.

Trust us, we can’t wait either, and are so glad that the One Direction band members continue to make music on their own — even though we still hope they reunite one day!
