Lori Loughlin 100% confirms the Olsen twins won’t be on “Fuller House” Season 2, but we still can’t wait

Let’s face it, you guys. Mary-Kate and Ashley likely won’t be acting together anytime soon. In preparation for the second season, Lori Loughlin confirmed that Fuller House would lack Olsen. Just in case, y’know, you were hoping that maybe the two of them had a change of heart.
"They’re not on ‘Fuller House’ for a second season either," Loughlin said to The Huffington Post. "I’m not in any of those negotiations, nor am I privy to any information, only that I can say they’re not on again for a second season."
(But hey, if Aunt Becky is cool with it, so are we.)
We can’t blame the twins for wanting to put the past behind them. After all, they started filming the show when they were nine months old. Now, they’ve realized that their passions lie elsewhere. But Loughlin admits that if they ever changed their minds, they’re more than welcome to come back.
"I’m sure they would more than welcome them back if they wanted to [do it], but it’s been great for all of us to be reunited," she said. "Who would have thought after over 25 years that we would actually be back shooting on the same soundstage that we did all those years ago?"
The opportunity is definitely one you don’t see every day.
Fuller House has proven that they have more than enough talent to carry the show. As Loughlin noted, Fuller House truly centers around the fun dynamic of Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber — but, having the “adults” reunite as well for a few episodes is always a dream to see.
"We have a nice story arc [this season] and I think the fans will actually really like it," Loughlin said. (Will Aunt Becky still be baby crazy this time around? We definitely hope so.)
The second season of Fuller House premieres on Netflix on December 9th. It’s almost the perfect in-between-holidays show to binge-watch!
