Drop everything and get your Lollapalooza tickets, because this year’s lineup is crazy

The music festival gods have graced us with a gift this morning! Lollapalooza’s line-up for 2015 was just announced on Twitter, and we’re still processing the amount of musical geniuses poised to appear at one fest. The three-day Chicago music mega-event, founded in the ’90s by Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell, always draws some of the biggest names and best up-and-coming artists in the music industry, but this year is, like, above and beyond.

The headliners? Let’s start with Paul McCartney making his Lolla debut! Also, Metallica will be back for the first time in almost 20 years! Then we have Florence + the Machine and Sam Smith round out the headlining acts.

Other performances gracing the Grant Park stages will be Cold War Kids, Alabama Shakes, Marina and the Diamonds, and TV On The Radio. FKA Twigs is going to be there, as is Tyler, The Creator, Charlie XCX, Chet Faker, The Weekend and ASAP Rocky. As always, the 130 strong lineup is a blend of all that is great in music, ranging from alternative rock to hip hop to DJs.

For the full lineup and info on tickets, visit the Lollapalooza website. Although three day passes are already sold out (booooo), single day passes are available. Lolla will be taking over Grant Park July 31 – August 2. Yeah, we’re so there.
