A ‘Lizzie McGuire’ reunion happened and it felt like 2002 all over again
Quick, someone call 2004 and reassure our past selves that in the future, Lizzie and Miranda are still buds. This is important.
Your eyes do not deceive you, Hilary Duff and Lalaine Vergara hung out together. Not only that, but the two were joined by Lizzie McGuire’s troublesome little brother Matt, played by Jake Thomas. He clearly echoes our excitement, as he captioned the picture, “So this happened last night . . .” BAH. We want it to happen every night for the rest of our lives, TBH.
Still, we can’t help but notice the absence of Lizzie’s other best friend, Gordo. That would have really made this the ultimate Lizzie McGuire reunion, but we’re of course happy to see these three hanging out (at a bowling alley, no less) all these years later. It’s also amazing because Lizzie and Miranda Duff and Vergara are still rocking some hardcore signature looks, just like their characters did. We desperately wanted to cop their style back in the early 2000s, and we want to copy everything about their style right now, too. We’ll admit, we kind of miss the butterfly clips, though.
