Lindsay Lohan’s selfie with Kourtney Kardashian is baffling us in the best way

This is a public service announcement: Lindsay Lohan (yes OUR Lindsay Lohan, Parent Trap and Freaky Friday and Mean Girls Lindsay Lohan) and Kourtney Kardashian (from, you know, Keeping Up With the Kardashians) hung out and took and selfie together, and may as well be BFFs.

Lindsay captioned the Insta with, “#theparenttrap my #twin @kourtneykardash has arrived!” Kourtney posted the same pic, saying “London calling.” Because they’re both chilling together in London, because why not? But wait. Parent Trap? Twin? WHAT IS GOING ON SOMEONE TELL ME NOW.

Digging a little further, I found out that the dress Lindsay is wearing is a dress Kourtney also owns. It’s an Elisabetta Franchi red and blue fringe dress and it looks like it belongs in a cool, retro, carnival-style flapper girl music video. Yesterday, Kourtney posted a quick video of her dancing in it.

It’s super gorgeous, and Kourtney looks amazing in it.

And it actually turns out these two have some history. According to Getty, Lindsay Lohan partied at least ONCE with the Kardashians back in 2011 at the Playstation 3 Launch.

So, my question (STILL) is HOW did these two famous humans realize they both own the same dress and that they’re both in London with said dress? Was it planned? Was it twin day in London and we here in America are just clueless? Did Lindsay see Kourtney’s Instagram and text her, “Girl hai, we’re wearing the same dress lol let’s hang, it’s been 2 long.” HOW DO THESE THINGS HAPPEN?

Most importantly, can I please borrow it because it’s the cutest.
