Lindsay Lohan recreated her favorite “Mean Girls” quotes, and she would have made a killer Regina George

Even though Mean Girls was released in 2004, Lindsay Lohan continues to carry a torch for the film. Obviously, we’re not complaining, because Mean Girls is one of the greatest relics in our young bb lives, and we’ll take a Mean Girls tribute whenever we can get one. Lohan recently recreated her favorite lines from Mean Girls for W Magazine, and it proves that she would have made a killer Regina George.

Lohan performed the following quotes in a few different ways, showing that despite her less-than-robust acting resume these days, she’s seriously still got it.

Lohan’s eight favorite Mean Girls quotes are:

1. “Grool.”
2. “The limit does not exist.”
3. “We only carry sizes one three and five. You should try Sears.”
4. “That is the ugliest effing skirt I have ever seen.”
5. “Don’t have sex because you will get pregnant and die.”
6. “On Wednesdays, we wear pink.”
7. “You smell like a baby prostitute.”
8. “Gretchen, stop trying to make fetch happen, it’s not going to happen.”

Interestingly enough, Lohan auditioned for the part of Regina George before everyone realized she would make a better Cady Heron. Lohan even fought with director Mark Waters to play Rachel McAdams’ part.

“Mark came out to scout locations for Mean Girls and came to see me at my hotel and said, ‘Do you wanna do this movie?’ I wanted to play Regina. I had just played in Confessions [of a Teenage Drama Queen] and Freaky [Friday] not the cool girl in school. I was still 17 years old and I wanted to be the cool girl on set,” Lohan told Entertainment Weekly in April 2017.

Lohan spent much of the last year campaigning to get the Mean Girls sequel made. She tweeted at Emma Stone to join the Mean Girls 2 cast, she already has ideas for the script (the stars are all moms now), and she revealed in an interview last year on The View that she’s just waiting for the sequel when the “time’s right.” Honestly, we have never related harder than we do right now to Lohan’s insatiable drive to make Mean Girls sequel magic. Unlike ~fetch,~ please Lindsey, continue trying to make Mean Girls 2 happen.
